Ray McNamara graduated as a dentist in 1989 from Leeds, earning two clinical prizes in Operative Dental Surgery. He began his career as a House Surgeon in Conservation and Prosthetics, gaining hands-on experience with complex cases under consultant supervision, which helped him refine advanced techniques and develop strong clinical skills.
After a few years in general practice, Ray seized the opportunity to open his own practice in Chester. Over the next 20 years, his practice rapidly expanded, eventually requiring a move to a larger location to keep up with demand. He sold the practice when the administrative demands of the profession were beginning to take him away from what he enjoyed most—working directly with patients. For Ray, a period of “just being a dentist” was a welcome change.
Ray has special expertise in Implantology, Endodontics, and Reconstructive Dentistry, backed by extensive postgraduate study and years of experience. His comprehensive approach to rebuilding damaged mouths aims to restore each patient’s ideal smile with precision and reliability.
Ray is also skilled in cosmetic dentistry, where meticulous technique and the correct clinical procedures are essential for achieving both predictable outcomes and lasting results. For those seeking a beautiful, resilient smile, his careful approach ensures exceptional, long-term results.
